Lewes Oyster House
Lewes Oyster House serves no steamed crabs. At 4.7 on Google across roughly 900 reviews, it is the best-rated seafood room in either town. It opened in late October 2022 in the 1930s Walsh Building on Second Street. The room was the Rose and Crown tavern and later Jerry's Seafood. The old ten-tap bar still stands. Tim Bartle and Tom Little own it with chef Sean Corea. Corea cooked at Nage and Fork and Flask. They run it as a Middle Atlantic tavern with a daily raw bar list. Seafood towers ran $85 to $110 at opening. The lobster roll comes on a split bun. Crab-stuffed Kennett mushrooms arrive in an escargot dish.
