Harrison's Harbor Watch

Harbor Watch is downtown's crab cake house, not its crab house. Brothers John and Hale Harrison of the Harrison Group opened it in 1984 at the south end of the boardwalk. Its 444 seats span two stories over the inlet. The view takes in the commercial harbor and Assateague. The cakes are crab meat and seasoning with no filler. The raw bar shucks local oysters and clams in front of you. It won best raw bar in the 2024 Best of Ocean City voting. The steamer side runs to shrimp, clams and snow crab legs rather than trays of blues. Entrees come with unlimited sides. Google has it at 4.3 across roughly 2,700 reviews. For steamed blue crabs, walk north to 2nd Street or cross the bridge.
