Dockside Seafood and Fishing Center

Dockside is the working end of the Lynnhaven Inlet waterfront. One address at 3311 Shore Drive holds a seafood market, a casual restaurant and a charter dock. Bubba's is next door. The market runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and the restaurant 11 to 9. Crab people come for the counter. Steamed blues, soft shells and whatever else came off the boats get weighed out to go. Eat on the deck over the marina. Or carry a dozen home in a paper bag. TripAdvisor ranks it among the top thirty restaurants in the city. Google has it at 4.5 across roughly 3,400 reviews. Reviewers praise the crabs' freshness more than anything else.
