Copp's is a roadside seafood shack outside Lewes. The Copp family started it in 1971 as a small clam business. The shack sits on its own lane off Mulberry Knoll Road near Route 24. The family ran it for more than 50 years. They sold in July 2022 to Lisa Olivere and David Wing, a Georgetown carpenter. The new owners kept the operation intact, down to Miss Kay Copp's crab cake recipe. Crabs come from the Delaware and Chesapeake bays. Steaming and seasoning cost nothing extra. The cases also carry middle-neck clams, shrimp and fresh fish. The shop announced its 2026 season opening on Facebook. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
